Sistan and Baluchestan (IP) – Chief Commander of Sistan and Baluchestan police announced confiscating over 1.5 tons of smuggled narcotics in an operation in the southeast of Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Brigadier-General Ahmad Taheri stated on Wednesday that the police had detained eight smugglers.

He highlighted that 1,600 kg of narcotics had been confiscated from the smugglers.

The police commander noted that the anti-narcotics operations had been launched in Saravan, Iranshahr, Khash and Nikshahr.

Iran is at the forefront of the fight against drug trafficking, and thousands of Iranian forces have been martyred to protect the world from the danger of drugs. Despite high economic and human costs, the Islamic Republic has been actively fighting drug trafficking over the past decades.
