Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking in a press conference on Monday in Tehran, Mojtaba Zuljudi, elaborated on the plans and actions of the Marine Deputy of the Environmental Protection Organization and said that after two years of drought and lack of rainfall in Iran, problems have arisen in all fields, especially the environment.
He added that wetlands are in a fragile condition, and in order to reduce the pollution of the coasts and seas, cooperation between the countries of the Caspian Sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Sea of Oman is required.

uljodi noted: Drought in recent years and the water policies of some neighboring countries, such as Turkey in the northwest, and Afghanistan in the southeast have increased concern.
Regarding the Tehran Convention, Zuljudi said: In 2005, a legal agreement between the five countries of the Caspian Sea was approved. This convention and its protocols between the five countries bordering the Caspian Sea remained inactive for seven years, but with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Environmental Protection Organization, it will soon be implemented.
Zuljudi pointed to the marine pollution and said: The most important pollution was caused by the oil transmission lines from Abuzar platform to Khark Island, which reached from 24 inches to 26 inches with continuous follow-up by the Environmental Protection Organization and Oil Ministry.
he said: through the international and regional communities and a memorandum of understanding, we were able to replace Iran's worn-out lines, and we have given proposals to the Oil Ministry in this regard.
