Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Iran Press on Monday, Mahmoud al-Zahar, a senior member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in an interview with Al-Mahwar program broadcast on Al-Aqsa radio network, appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran for its support of the anti-Israeli resistance.
He said: "Thanking Iran is in line with the Islamic country's support for the axis of resistance; we are now on the threshold of the battle of "The Promised End" or "Wadal Akhera," and we must prepare for it.
The battle of "The Promised End" or "Wadal Akhera" is considered as the Quranic allusion referring to the following verse of Al-Isra Surah of Holy Quran and which is mentioned there as the "second warning" :
"If you act rightly, it is for your own good, but if you do wrong, it is to your own loss. “And when the second warning would come to pass, your enemies would ˹be left to disgrace you totally."
The Senior member of the political bureau of the Hamas Movement considered the relations of this movement with other Arab and Islamic countries and all the countries of the world in line with the liberation of Palestine and clarified: "The relations of this movement with Egypt are also clear and the role of this country is important regarding the Palestinian issue."
Regarding the resistance of the West Bank against Israelis, Al-Zahar also said: "West Bank resistance in terms of progress and creating confusion and concern in Israeli circles is a version of the Gaza resistance, and we see in the bodies of the martyrs of the West Bank a broad national situation that confirms the resistance."
