Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement:

Tehran (IP) - The resistance groups in Palestine say the Israeli enemy has gone sapped due to the successful operations of the resistance front.

Iran PressIran News: The representatives of Palestine's Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements, Khaled al-Qaddumi and Nasser Abu Sharif, held a press conference in Tehran, Iran, over the achievements of the recent 55-hour war in Gaza.

As of Friday, August 5, 2022, Israel bombarded Gaza heavily for three days, flattening buildings and striking refugee camps.

In the conference held on Wednesday, al-Qaddumi mentioned field unity and unity in decision-making as the achievement of the three-day Israeli war and said that any act of the Israeli regime would face a due reaction.

The "principle of deterrence" was the main reason the Zionist regime refused to continue the war on the Gaza Strip," he noted.

Describing the 55-hour war, al-Qaddumi said the three-day defense made the Israeli settlers creep into the shelters in Tel Aviv and other cities; All residents of the Sedirot region were transferred to Haifa.

The representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Iran, Nasser Abu Sharif, said: "With the Israeli war kicked off, all of the Israeli-inhabited areas around the Gaza Strip were completely shut down such that closure engulfed almost half of occupied Palestine."

"The very shut-down caused a lot of economic damage to the Zionist regime and life in the Israeli community was almost paralyzed," he added.

Abu Sharif explained: "In the 55-hour war, the Zionist regime suffered a financial loss of $100 million, and this is despite the fact that the regime fought only one Palestinian [resistance] group, the Islamic Jihad, not all Palestinian groups."

The Israeli parliament, Knesset, announced yesterday that 222 sites, 114 houses, and several other vehicles were hit in occupied Palestine.
