The representative of Russia in the international organizations based in Vienna said that he is optimistic about the path of negotiations to lift sanctions on Iran.

Iran PressEurope: As the new round of talks in Vienna to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA) enters its fourth day, top Iranian and Russian diplomats hold separate meetings with European officials to finalize the terms of the agreement on Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia's representative in international organizations based in Vienna, told the Al-Mayadeen news channel on Sunday afternoon: "We are optimistic about the path of negotiations." We are currently in the final steps.

He emphasized: "I don't think that the negotiations will last for a long time. It is time to make a decision in our capitals.

After meeting with Enrique Mora, the deputy head of foreign policy of the European Union and the coordinator of the Vienna talks, Ulyanov also tweeted that negotiations to lift the sanctions are progressing in Vienna.

On last Wednesday, Ali Bagheri tweeted about his trip to Vienna to participate in the new round of sanctions-lifting negotiations: "We are going to Vienna to advance the negotiations. The responsibility rests with those who violated the agreement and failed to distance themselves from the infamous legacy of the past."

The chief negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran noted: "America should appreciate the opportunity provided by the generosity of JCPOA members. The ball is in their court to show maturity and act responsibly." 219
