44th edition of the World Chess Olympiad:

Chennai(IP)- Iran's national women's chess team won against Bangladesh in the World Olympiad.

Iran PressAsia: The 44th edition of the World Chess Olympiad began on July 28 in Chennai, India.

The Iranian women's national chess team won another sweet victory against the Bangladesh team in the sixth round of the World Chess Olympiad, scoring 3-1.

Women International Master Mobina Alinasab and Mitra Asgharzadeh, women's FIDE Master, won against their opponents, and "Sahar Masoumi," the women's FIDE master, settled for a draw against their opponents so that the Iranian women's national chess team scored 3:1 and another victory was achieved.

In the sixth round of the World Chess Olympiad, Iran's men's national chess team (Azad) faced the strong American national team with the first chance to win the championship and lost 2.5 to 1.5 in a close and sensitive competition.
