The permanent representative of Russia to the international organizations based in Vienna announced on Wednesday that his country is ready to finalize the talks in Vienna with the focus on lifting the oppressive and illegal sanctions against Iran.(masculine)

Most of the countries participating in the talks concurred on the lifting of the oppressive and illegal sanctions against Iran and demanded a faster conclusion of the negotiations, however reaching a final agreement needs US political decisions on several remaining issues.

The Vienna talks have seen some progress due to the initiatives of the Iranian negotiating team, but Joe Biden's reluctance to compensate for the former US administration's illegal actions and the continuing of maximum pressure have cast doubt on the country's seriousness in returning to JCPOA.

Russian diplomat, Mikhail Ulyanov, on Twitter, stated that the delegations of the negotiating countries plan to return to Vienna after a break of almost 5 months, noting that the Russian negotiators are ready for constructive talks to finalize the agreement.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, recently emphasized that there is no doubt in Iran's will to reach a good, strong and stable agreement, and stated that if the US takes a real step toward reaching an agreement, a good agreement is within reach.

Considering that the United States was the party that violated the JCPOA, the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a responsible country, has stated many times that it is Washington that should return to the agreement by lifting sanctions; moreover, it is necessary for Iran to verify the implementation of US commitments. 219
