Iran Press/ Iran news: The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Naser Kanaani announced today, that the Iranian delegation headed by Ali Bagheri, the Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is set to leave for Vienna to resume negotiations of US return to JCPOA.
And he announced that in this round of talks, the ideas of all sides, including that of Iran's, which were presented to the other side this week, will be discussed.
Ali Bagheri on Twitter said that he is going to Vienna to advance the negotiations and added that the responsibility lies with those who violated the agreement and failed to distance themselves from the infamous legacy of the past.
Today in a meeting with Pasquale Ferrara, Director General of Political and Security Affairs of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran, the Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran also said: "The purpose of the negotiations is to determine the conditions for the return of the United States to the agreement, therefore, Washington cannot set conditions for Iran, which is already a member of the JCPOA."
Regarding the process of future negotiations, Bagheri said: "in the upcoming negotiations, the serious and real will of the US to reach an agreement will be verified."
Most of the countries participating in the talks concurred on the lifting of the oppressive and illegal sanctions against Iran and demanded a faster conclusion of the negotiations, however reaching a final agreement needs US political decisions on several remaining issues.
The Vienna talks have seen some progress due to the initiatives of the Iranian negotiating team, but Joe Biden's reluctance to compensate for the former US administration's illegal actions and the continuing of maximum pressure have cast doubt on the country's seriousness in returning to JCPOA. 219
