Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Information and Communication Technology attributed the internet disruption in the country to the non-observance of the civil defense principles.

Iran PressIran news: In the recent week, the internet infrastructure was disrupted due to some incidents in the country, which left some damage to the subscribers. 

Issa Zarepour told Iran Press correspondent on Wednesday about two accidents in Mashhad, in northeastern Iran, and in Tehran, where one of the cable carrier channels in Tehran Telecommunications Company caught fire.

Zarepour called on the Telecommunication Company of Iran to compensate for the damage to the internet subscribers. 

Still, he pointed to the violations occasionally occurring in ICT development platforms, adding that the administration called for the Judiciary's assistance to prevent the cases of violation more specifically.
