Tehran (IP) - On the recommendation of the Iranian Foreign Minister and after the approval of the President, Seyed Majid Ghafelehbashi was appointed as the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Czech Republic.

Iran PressIran news: Ghafelehbashi met with Foreign Minister Hossein AmirAbdollahian ahead of his departure for his place of duty and presented to the foreign minister the main topics of his working agenda during his ambassadorial tenure in the Czech Republic.

The foreign minister also offered his advice and guidelines on tapping into all potential, including economic diplomacy, in line with the foreign policy objectives of the 13th administration in Iran.

Ghafelehbashi is a university graduate of economics and management, and he has been the deputy director for study and research at the Foreign Ministry’s Center for Political and International Studies and has also held diplomatic positions in the Netherlands and Hungary.
