Iran Press/ Iran news: With the raising of a black flag over the dome of the holy shrine of Ali bin Musa al-Reza (AS) and the covering of various courtyards of the Razavi shrine, the mourning ceremonies for the Commander of the martyrs have begun in the spiritual capital of Iran.
With the beginning of the month of Muharram and the first day of the month of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions, mourners have a significant presence in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).
The Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) hosts a massive number of foreign pilgrims, especially Afghan, Pakistani and Iraqi pilgrims, as well as Iranian pilgrims and those adjacent to the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS) during Muharram days, especially Taswa (9th of Muharram) and Ashura (10th Of Muharram) days.
