Beirut (IP) - The new Iranian ambassador Mojtaba Amani arrived in Beirut on Friday.

Iran PressMiddle East: Upon arrival, Amani was welcomed by the official Lebanese figures, Arab media “Al-Manar” reported.

He emphasized making all his efforts to strengthen relations between Iran and Lebanon.

Amani was welcomed by Mahmoud Qamati, the former minister of parliamentary affairs and a senior member of Hezbollah's political council and the Lebanese lawmaker Qabalan Qabalan.

He was the former head of the Iran interest section in Cairo.
