Tehran (IP) - A senior official with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) says Iran’s natural gas production capacity would see a 150-mcm/d rise with the development of the Kish and North Pars gas fields covered recently memorandum of understanding between NIOC and Russia’s Gazprom.

Iran PressIran news: Hormoz Qalavand, Director of Oil and Gas Production Supervision of the National Iranian Oil Company, said: "The development of oil cooperation between Iran and Russia will lead to an increase in Iran's oil and gas production."

"At the same time, it will help advance some of the oil industry's plans, including increasing pressure in the South Pars joint field, which is one of the important concerns of Iran and Russia oil cooperation," Qalavand added.
