In a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized that Iran adheres to its obligations and stated that Tehran wants the Americans to be realistic so that a good, strong and stable agreement can be reached.

Iran PressIran News: In this telephone conversation, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said: "Iran hopes that the American side will take a realistic approach so that the negotiations reach their final stage."

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran also condemned some attempts to spread an anti-Iranian atmosphere at the Jeddah Summit and expressed his satisfaction that these efforts did not come to fruition due to the tact of the countries in the region.

Iran's top diplomat added: "The countries of the region showed that the issue of Palestine is still a priority for the Islamic world and no country in the region can ignore the crimes of the Zionist regime."

Amir Abdollahian further welcomed the activation of specialized committees between Iran and Kuwait, calling these good signs of the positive trend of bilateral cooperation and expressed hope that with the increase in bilateral meetings, the fields for the development of cooperation will be provided.

In this telephone conversation, Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Sabah, while appreciating the initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in developing relations with the countries of the region, emphasized the need to further expand bilateral relations between Kuwait and Tehran.

And he noted: "The political leadership of Kuwait has always sought to strengthen relations with Iran, and the appointment of the new ambassador of Kuwait to Iran is in this direction."

Referring to the visit of the Iranian Vice President and the head of the Department of Environment to Kuwait, and the holding of a joint meeting between the two countries regarding the issue of fine dust. He said: "These official meetings can solve issues of this kind through bilateral cooperation."

Regarding the security and development summit in Jeddah, Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah, while rejecting the speculations made before the summit about its anti-Iranian goals, emphasized that in the words of the leaders of the region, the necessity of establishing and maintaining good relations with Iran has always been emphasized. 219
