Mohammad Irani, Iran's ambassador to Kuwait, announced the imminent visit of Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to Kuwait.

Iran PressMiddle East: In January 2016, after some people attacked the Saudi embassy in Tehran, Kuwait recalled its ambassador in Tehran in protest and reduced its relations with Iran.

In an interview with Kuwait's "Al-Rai" newspaper, the ambassador welcomed the sending of the ambassador from Kuwait to Tehran and said: "Relations between the two countries are expected to develop at a better level."

Bader Abdullah Al-Munaikh will leave for Tehran soon as Kuwait's ambassador.

The Iranian ambassador said: "Designation of Bader Abdullah Al-Munaikh as Kuwait's ambassador to Tehran as a natural thing to strengthen bilateral relations, especially in political issues."

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had informed that Kuwait and the UAE would soon send ambassadors to Tehran.

The UAE ambassador will resume his work in Iran soon, and Kuwait has also named its new ambassador to Tehran," he said on July 22.

"The foreign ministry has endorsed the two Arab ambassadors," he added.
