Tehran (IP) – Iran's Energy Minister says Iran and Turkiye agreed to build the necessary infrastructure to increase cooperation in the electricity field.

Iran PressIran News: Ali-Akbar Mehrabian stated that the agreement was reached during the visit of a Turkish delegation headed by President Erdogan to Tehran on July 19th.

He noted that during Erdogan's visit, Iran and Turkiye agreed to enhance the infrastructure of the electricity swap.

According to the agreement, the two countries' electricity grids will be connected through Khoi-Van, Khoi-Bash Qala and Bazargan-Daghubayzid power plants.
