Baghdad (IP) -The Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq talked with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad.

Iran PressMiddle East: Jeanine Antoinette Plasschaert, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Iraq and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq and Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq, Iran's ambassador to Baghdad, supported the stability and development of Iraq by emphasizing the acceleration of the formation of the Iraqi government based on the political process.

The ambassador of Iran to Baghdad and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq also emphasized serving the people and promoting infrastructure projects by the new government.The ambassador called for a more effective role of the United Nations to support the progress and prosperity of Iraqis.

The two diplomats also supported the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Iraqi government.
