Tehran (IP)- Within the week ending on July 22, 2022, the IME witnessed a trade of 1,894,368 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of almost 413 million USD on its physical market.

Iran PressIran news: According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade nearly 1,7 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 260 million USD.

On this floor, the IME sold 874,842 tonnes of cement, 531,000 tonnes of iron ore, 200,460 tonnes of steel, 63,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 710 tonnes of zinc, 12,650 tonnes of aluminum, 4,100 tonnes of copper, 30 tonnes of precious metals concentrate, 1,000 tonnes of coke and 6 kg of gold bars. Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 203,116 tonnes of commodities worth more than 148 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 74,818 tonnes of polymeric products, 4,200 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 32,000 tonnes of lube cut, 34,191 tonnes of chemicals, and 110 tonnes of sulfur 2,953 tonnes of base oil, and 54,360 tonnes of bitumen.

The IME also traded within the same week 6,034 tonnes of commodities on its side market.

Within the month ending on July 22, 2022, the IME witnessed a trade of 8,849,000 tonnes of commodities worth more than 2.2 billion USD on its physical market.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on both domestic and export pits of its oil and petrochemical trading floor trade of 1,121,000 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 784 million USD.

The IME's customers purchased on this floor 201,350 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 275,059 tonnes of bitumen, 316,753 tonnes of polymeric products, 148,500 tonnes of lube cut, 161,706 tonnes of chemicals, 4,605 tonnes of sulfur, 13,456 tonnes of oil, 110 tonnes of argon, 1,000 tonnes of slops wax and 755 tonnes of insulation.

Furthermore, the exchange-traded 7,696,000 tonnes of commodities worth more than 1.4 billion USD on its metals and minerals trading floor.

Items traded on this floor included 4,352,000 tonnes of cement, 1,428,000 tonnes of steel, 1,551,000 tonnes of iron ore, 273,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 36,225 tonnes of aluminum, 41,400 tonnes of zinc, 20,910 tonnes of copper, 510 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 1,000 tonnes of coke, 60 tonnes of lead, 60 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 57 kg of gold bars.

Last was the IME's side market, where the exchange-traded 31,660 tonnes of commodities.
