Bishkek (IP) - Kirkyz president Sadyr Japarov, and his Tajik counterpart, Emomali Rahmon, discussed the prospect of bilateral talks in different areas, especially the demarcation of borders in Kirkyz city of Cholpon-Ata.

Iran PressIran News: The two sides agreed that consultation meetings of Central Asia leaders help them to build a new atmosphere of regional relations.

Japarov and Rahmon reiterated the importance of coordinated use of the water of transboundary rivers.

The two presidents also agreed to revive the activity of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyzstan working group to resolve bilateral issues related to water resources.

They also negotiated the activities of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea  (IFAS) under the leadership of Tajikstan.   

Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan threw their support behind the attempts of the founding members of the organization to improve its structure by considering the interest of all regional states.
