Qom (IP) – The holy shrine of Fatimah al-Masumah in Qom, central Iran, and other religious centers and the streets around the shrine have been decorated with lightning and flowers on the occasion of the arrival of Eid al-Ghadir.

Iran PressIran News: Various celebrations are underway on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir all over Iran, including the religious city of Qom, and Iranian and foreign pilgrims are widely present in the holy shrine of Fatimah al-Masumah.

Other Iranian cities are full of celebration and joy on the occasion and various cultural and religious programs are being held.

The 18th of Dhul-Hijjah of the year 1443 Hijri coincides with July 18, 2022, the day of Eid al-Ghadir, the great Muslim holiday.

Ghadir Khumm is an area between Mecca and Medina where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) declared Imam Ali (PBUH) as the first Imam of the Muslims.
