Tehran (IP) – Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy says Iran is among the top 10 countries in the world in knowledge and technology, adding that Iran's exports to Central Asia, Caucasus, Russia and even European countries have grown well.

Iran PressIran News: Stating that Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs pursues economic diplomacy on eight axes, Mehdi Safari stated that 630 knowledge-based companies with export capabilities are in charge of marketing, and any country that wants three or four of Iran's products will be represented.

He noted that there had been growth in Iran's exports to the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus, Russia and even European countries; these countries both supply goods to Iran and buy oil products from the Islamic Republic.

Regarding the North-South Corridor, he also said: "For more than three months now, traffic has been carried out from Qatar, Incheborun, Sarakhs and Azerbaijan, and our effort is to provide infrastructure in the North-South Corridors of Astara and Rasht." 219
