Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recept Tayyip Erdogan will attend the seventh round of the Astana Summit in Tehran to address Syria's situation.
The Astana Summit started in January 2017 with the initiative of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the cooperation of Russia and Turkey, aiming to establish peace in Syria.
The summit was expected to be held last year, but it was procrastinated due to COVID-19, and is due to be held in person on Tuesday afternoon in Tehran.
During his visit to Tehran, President Putin and President Erdogan will also meet separately with senior Iranian officials.
According to Turkish officials, Putin and Erdogan will hold a bilateral meeting in Tehran as well.
