Tehran (IP) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs expressed Iran's readiness to transfer technology to Nicaragua.

Iran PressIran News: Mehdi Safari met with Nicaraguan Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Mojica Obregon, who has come to Iran to attend the Smart City Expo 2022.

Mojica Obregon is in Iran to pursue promoting bilateral ties in all fields with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in infrastructure and advanced technologies.

During the meeting, the Nicaraguan minister called for further expansion of bilateral relations between Iran and Nicaragua.

Mulling over relations and economic cooperation, the two sides underlined the necessity of promoting ties in various fields.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister for economic affairs referred to advanced technologies, nano and bio-technology products, medicine, vaccines, and medical equipment as areas where Iran has the capacity and prioritizes its economic cooperation with Nicaragua.
