Tehran (IP) – Member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament said that the US, as a country that supports the biggest violator of human rights like Israel, cannot be considered a supporter of human rights.

Iran PressIran News: The conference on exposing American human rights was held today in the former US embassy in Tehran with the participation of the Member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Abolfazl Amoui, the legal deputy of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Sohrab-Ali Shamkhani, the Commander of the Judiciary Mobilization Forces and Iran's Deputy Attorney-General Saeed Omrani.

Abolfazl Amoui, while expressing his condolences on the occasion of the anniversary of the attack of the American ship on the Iranian passenger plane over the Persian Gulf, said: "As an example, this incident that shows that the US betrays human rights and uses the concept of human rights as a tool."

He pointed out that Americans have turned human rights into a challenge, both inside and outside, and using human rights to announce the list of human rights violators, while a quarter of the world's prisoners are in the United States.

He stated that the ethnic deficiency of human rights clearly shows that America does not have the potential to defend human rights, they have the most violent police in the world, especially in dealing with people of color.

He underlined that the US deals with others on human rights, such as killing and dismembering Khashoggi.

Amoui said that racial inequality had been institutionalized in the United States, for example, the number of deaths of people of color is higher than that of white people in the COVID field.

He added that imposing sanctions is the most important tool for the US, they do not allow drugs to enter Iran, and Iranian patients, especially EB patients, suffer.

"The issue of human rights should be reviewed, and we all should not allow it to be misused and invite other nations to make the world a better place to live," he concluded.
