Tehran (IP)- The deputy chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee said: The reopening of the embassies of Iran and Saudi Arabia can be a positive step and will facilitate the path of future negotiations.

Iran PressIran news: The fifth round of talks between the high representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia was held in Baghdad, Iraq, where the main challenges were discussed.

Ebrahim Azizi, the deputy chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said: The results of the negotiations with the Saudis depend on the approaches that we will see from Riyadh.

He added: They should not seek to secure the interests of foreigners and create insecurity in the region, they should avoid giving legitimacy to the Zionists.
