Iran Press / Iran News: According to official statistics, In the eight years of the Holy Defense in the Iraq Baathist regime imposed war, 225,570 Iranian people were martyred, and 574,101 people became disabled Sacred Defense.
The martyrs entered Iran through Shalamcheh international border and were embraced by the people of Abadan, Khorramshahr, and a group of Qashqai tribe people.
The bodies of the martyrs searched were related to Val-Fajr, Kheibar, Badr, and Karbala 5 in Fakkeh, eastern Tigris, and Shalamcheh.
The bodies of 9 Iraqi soldiers also were sent to Iraq in an exchange.
