In joint presser with Turkish counterpart:

Ankara (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister, in his joint presser with his Turkish counterpart, said that reaching an agreement in a new round of talks on lifting sanctions will depend on whether the United States and the three European countries use a realistic approach or not.

Iran PressAsia: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is visiting Turkiye on an official invitation by his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

The visit is scheduled to give a boost to bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as regional and international cooperation.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian added in the joint press conference with Türkiye's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Monday: "We have repeatedly stated that Iran's neighborhood policy, development and deepening of Iran-Türkiye relations is on the serious agenda of President Raisi's government."

"I have clearly stated Iran's sensitivities and considerations about the Zionists and the movements of this regime in meeting with Çavuşoğlu," he said.

He urged that a new round of talks to lift sanctions would depend on whether the United States and the three European countries (UK, France, Germany) use a realistic approach or not to reach an agreement.

Pointing to the cooperation with Türkiye, the Foreign Minister added that a draft of the Iranian side's proposal on a document on comprehensive and long-term cooperation between the two countries will be presented to Çavuşoğlu.

Amir-Abdollahian further referred to the Vienna talks, saying that he has briefed Çavuşoğlu on the EU's Foreign Policy Cheif Josep Borrell's visit to Tehran and the agreement to continue negotiations in Vienna on the lifting of the sanctions.

He added: "I hope that in the new round of talks between Iran and the other side, we will see an agreement reached on the condition of realistic behavior of the United States and three European countries."
