Iran Press/ Iran news: Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi has traveled to Iran for a one-day visit on Sunday.
Upon his arrival in Tehran, Al-Kadhimi was officially welcomed and received by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a ceremony at Saadabad Historical Complex.
The two sides held a meeting, discussing bilateral ties and issues of mutual interest.
Iran and Iraq will work together to end the suffering of the Yemeni people, said Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi in the presser.
"Our effort is to secure the interests of the two nations of Iran and Iraq," al-Kazemi noted.
Following the inauguration of the government of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi was the first senior foreign official to visit Tehran in September 2021.
