Rome (IP)- Italian political activists have condemned the British government's decision to extradite WikiLeaks founder to the United States.

Iran PressEurope: A number of Italian political and media activists at a press conference at the Italian National Press Federation on Tuesday evening described the British Home Secretary's agreement to extradite Assange to the United States as a human rights violation.

The speakers said that the West, especially the United States, while claim they are great supporters of human rights and freedom of expression, was harassing journalists who covered the truth.
