Iran Press/ Iran news: During the visit of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which is carried out at the invitation of Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, bilateral talks at the highest level as well as the signing of several cooperation documents are planned.
Before he visited Tehran, the President of Kazakhstan had traveled to Russia on June 17, 2022, to attend the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Last week, a delegation from Turkmenistan led by President Serdar Berdimuhamedowt raveled to Iran.
Tehran has previously hosted Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and his high-level delegation.
Iran's President officially receives Kazakh counterpart
The official welcoming ceremony of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev was held on Sunday in the cultural-historical complex of Sa'adabad.
Simultaneously with Tokayev's visit to Iran, the first train of the new KITI railway corridor (Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey) arrived at the Tehran railway station.
