Tehran (IP)- Many Iranian students gathered in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran to protest against the anti-Islamic policies of the Azerbaijan government.

Iran PressIran news: The protest coincided with the 11th day of the hunger strike of "Taale Bagherzadeh," the leader of the Muslim Union of Azerbaijan, who is in prison.

The students set fire to the American and Israeli flags during the rally.

Several students also accused the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan of collaborating with the Israeli regime in the assassination of Fakhri Nejad and the martyrs of Hashd al-Shaabi.

The students held placards in Persian, Azerbaijani, and Hebrew with the slogans "Ilham Aliyev's policies are the same as the Zionists' policies," "The Baku regime is a puppet of the Zionists," "Shame on the government that loves the Zionists," " "Death to the Zionists."

The students called on Ilham Aliyev's government to review its anti-Islamic policies.

In the final statement, the students demanded the release of Taale Bagherzadeh and other political prisoners and a review by the Azerbaijani government of its relations with Israel.
