Tehran (IP)- Iranian actor Hamid Farokhnejad received the Best Asian Actor award at the Septimius Awards in Amsterdam.

Iran PressEurope: The Awards presented its prizes to the best of the four continents of the United States, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Iranian actor Hamid Farrokhnejad won the Best Actor Award at the Asian Section for his role in ‘Major’ directed by Ehsan Abdipour.

Septimius Film Festival, formerly known as Amsterdam New Horizons Film Festival, is an international award ceremony showcasing Feature Films, Documentaries, Short films, Animations, Television Series, and Screenplays. 

It is an annual event held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on the 6-7th of June 2022. Its goal is to showcase independent films and projects from around the world and Grant Awards to the best nominees at a yearly festival.
