Iran Press/ Iran News: Iranian Minister of Health Bahram Einollahi made the remarks at the signing ceremony of a memorandum with his Turkmen counterpart.
The meeting between the Iranian health minister and his Turkmen counterpart Nurmuhammet Amannepesov took place at the Iranian Ministry of Health on Tuesday evening. The two sides attended a presser at the end of the meeting, answering reporters' questions.
In response to reporters' questions, Einollahi expressed hope that good memoranda of understanding would be signed with his Turkmen counterpart to expand health diplomacy with Turkmenistan. He noted that appropriate plans had been made for holding scientific conferences with Turkmen scientists.
The Turkmen official for his part stated that in 2015, a memorandum in the field of medicine and health was signed between Iran and Turkmenistan, and today it was decided to follow up on the 2015 memorandum.
