Tehran (IP) - Production must be based on technology, said the deputy minister of the ministry of science and research for technology and innovation.

Iran PressIran news: The conference "Cooperation Capacities of Knowledge-Based Companies and Institutions and Iran-Khodro Industrial Group" was held today in Tehran.

Speaking at the conference on Sunday here in Tehran, Ali Khair al-Din said: "In Iran, we have 49 science and technology parks, 12 science and technology campuses, 246 technology development centers, 10,800 technology units and 90,000 employees in technology units, which is a sign of progress."

Khair al-Din emphasized: "We have established and launched technology and innovation campuses in cooperation with the private sector."  

He emphasized using the "law of surge in production" and said: "Cooperation in the car industry, implementation of the system of intellectual property rights, and gathering top ideas are on the agenda."
