Iran Press/ Iran News: In the inauguration ceremony, which was held on Sunday afternoon, Islamic Azad University, as a platform for knowledge-based job-creating production, has provided the opportunity to present a thousand ideas, a thousand innovative companies, a thousand university infrastructures, and a thousand billion tomans of investment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said: "Islamic Azad University had a similar movement at the beginning of the revolution and provided conditions for millions of people to study."
Ghalibaf said: "It is hoped that in the Second Phase of the Revolution, this scientific and popular institution, relying on forty years of experience, will be able to lift the basic burden of the country."
In the end, the speaker said: "Relying on the statement of the second step of the revolution by the Leader, we need a strong will in the Islamic Azad University, and it is with the spirit that the country achieves dignity and progress."
The national scientific event kicked off today in Mosalla, Tehran, and will last until May 31.
