The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs and the Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations.

Iran PressEurope:  Ali Bagheri Kani traveled to Oslo in response to the invitation of Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Henrik Thune and met senior Norwegian officials on Wednesday.

The 10th round of political consultations was held was jointly chaired by Bagheri Kani and Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Henrik Thune between Iran and Norway in Oslo.

The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations between the two countries following the talks.

During the meeting, the Iranian and Norwegian officials exchanged views on various bilateral, regional, and international issues.

Ali Bagheri Kani, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, traveled to Oslo to participate in the tenth round of political consultations between the two countries in response to the invitation of Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Henrik Thune.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister met on Wednesday separately with the Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Tore Hattrem, Minister of Oil and Energy, Amund Vik, and Norway's Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy, Vidar Ulriksen, met to discuss issues of mutual interest in the political, energy and fisheries sectors.
