Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Hossein Royvaran, an expert on political issues, said that Imam Khomeini(May His Soul Rest in Peace) sought to unite the Islamic Ummah with the liberation of Palestine.
"Imam Khomeini's political thoughts are as important as his ideological and religious thoughts," said Royvaran on Wednesday, On the sidelines of a ceremony of the social activists, NGOs, and the media's renewal of allegiance with the causes of the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini at the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in Tehran.
The event was aimed at commemorating the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the demise of the great founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Royvaran added that Imam Khomeini proposed the idea of the unity of the Islamic Ummah, but prioritized the issue of Palestine and sought to unite the Islamic Ummah by liberating Palestine.
The Iranian political expert concluded: "Imam Khomeini (May His Soul Rest in Peace) showed his initiative to unite the Islamic Ummah by planning the International Quds Day and leading and guiding the oppressed nations against global arrogance."
