Tehran (IP) - The head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council has stressed that the United States seeks to get Lebanon frustrated, saying that the United States not only does not want to help Lebanon but will keep the country under siege.

Iran PressMiddle East: "Those who count on the weakness of the resistance in any situation are delusional and must wake up from this negligence," said Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, chairman of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council, at a ceremony on Tuesday.

"Where are the US promises on electricity," he said, referring to the US promise to resolve the Lebanese electricity crisis.

The head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council has underscored that Washington does not want to help Lebanon, but wants to get it frustrated and keep it under siege.

Safi al-Din called on everyone to converge positively to build and save Lebanon to overcome its crises.
