Iran Press/ Iran news: Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani on Sunday held a phone call with the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian to discuss the latest agreement reached between the two countries' leaders during the recent visit of Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Tehran.
Also, the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar discussed the latest issues related to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the development and comprehensive expansion of bilateral relations between Tehran and Doha, as well as negotiations to lift sanctions.
Amir Abdollahian and Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani stressed the need for continued consultation to pursue issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and issues of common concern in the regional and international arenas. 219
