9 COVID death cases within 24 hrs in Iran

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that COVID-19 took the lives of 9 more patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,271.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 21, 2022, on Saturday, 7,229,741 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,032,212 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 159 cases, of whom 28 were hospitalized.

693 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,969,634 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red or orange, 259 are Yellow, and 189 are blue zones.

So far, 64,479,119 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,770,615 have received the second dose, 27,411,771 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,661,505 doses.
