Iranian Foreign Minister expressed hope that the friendly relations with Ghana would be further expanded and strengthened in all areas of interest.

Iran PressIran news: Ghana's Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, who headed a delegation to Iran to hold the seventh meeting of the Permanent Commission of Joint Cooperation between the country and Ghana, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

Amir-Abdollahian said in the meeting: "Iran has paid serious attention to the development of relations and the implementation of agreements, and for this purpose, at the earliest opportunity, a delegation will be sent to Ghana to draw a roadmap for relations between the two countries."

Referring to the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the fields of health, agriculture, industry, knowledge base, export of technical and engineering services, and the fight against terrorism and extremism, the Iranian Foreign Minister also announced Tehran's readiness to cooperate with Ghana in these areas.

Regarding the Ghana national team that has reached the World Cup in Qatar and the similarity of Qatar to Kish in terms of climate, the Iranian Foreign Minister suggested the stationing the football team and the fans in Kish during the world cup.

Ibrahim Mohammed Awal also called for the strengthening and expansion of cooperation in the sea and air transport and the establishment of a direct airline to develop the tourism industry, especially medical tourism.
