Iran, Ghana are developing their trade relations

Tehran (IP) - President of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines & Agriculture (ICCIMA), in a meeting with the Ghanaian ambassador to Tehran, emphasized the development of trade between the two countries by setting up a joint economic commission.

Iran PressIran news: Gholamhossein Shafei, President of ICCIMA, said in a meeting with Ghana's ambassador Eric Owusu-Boateng: "Ghana's economy is an advanced model among African countries and is the largest economy in Africa after Nigeria." Shafei added: "Ghana's economic and political stability is very excellent and this stability has created many attractions for cooperation."

The head of the Iran Chamber stated: "Iran is in an excellent position in the production of agricultural machinery, which is the basis for cooperation in this field. Production of medicine, cement, tiles, textile, and food industries are other fields that Iran can cooperate with Ghana." 

The Ghanaian ambassador to Tehran also said: "Political relations between the two countries are at a high level, and we have shown our support for each other in common interests in the international circles, so we must remove obstacles to boost economic relations."
