Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 12 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,177.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 08, 2022, 7,225,189 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,005,420 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 488 cases, of whom 71 patients were hospitalized.

896 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,165,998 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red, four are orange, 319 are yellow, and 125 are blue zones.

So far, 64,378,545 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,619,890 have received the second dose, 27,155,443 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,153,878 doses.
