Iran Press/ Iran News: The association's letter was published after the indictment of Hamid Nouri, an Iranian citizen in a Swedish prison, addressed to the Swedish Ambassador to Tehran, Mattias Lentz.
Hamid Nouri, an Iranian citizen, was arrested by the security forces on November 9, 2019, upon his arrival in Sweden, and he has been in prison for nearly 30 months.
"Sweden has become a safe haven for criminals and terrorists such as the terrorist group Harakat al-Nidal and the terrorist sect MKO," the letter reads.
In the letter, the association strongly protests the terrorists' cooperation with the Swedish government in prosecuting an Iranian citizen.
The MKO has a dark history of assassinations and bombings against the Iranian government and nation. It notoriously sided with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in the eight-year war.
Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist assaults since the Revolution’s victory, about 12,000 have fallen victim to the MKO’s acts of terror.
