Tehran (IP): The secretary of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran criticized Italy for holding a meeting by the MKO terrorist group.

Iran PressIran news: The Secretary of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran criticized holding a meeting on the human rights situation in Iran by the terrorist group Mojahedin-e- Khalq Organization (MKO) in the Italian Senate.

"The Europeans should end their double and destructive standards in terrorism and human rights," said Kazem Gharibabadi, secretary of High Council for Human Rights of Iran.

Gharibabadi added: "The hand of the terrorist group is stained with the blood of more than seventeen thousand innocent Iranians, but they travel freely in the capitals of European countries and hold ridiculous human rights meetings."

Gharibabadi called on the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take the necessary measures, to summon the Italian ambassador to Tehran to tackle the political game.
