Iran Press/ Europe: Friday, April 29, 2022 (Ordibehesht 9, 1401 AH) coincided with the 27th of Ramadan, 1443 AH, the International Day of Quds.
The last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan has been named International Quds Day on the initiative of Late Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, so that Muslims around the world can express their disgust with the racist policies of the Israeli regime.
In this regard, the Iranian Embassy in Italy wrote in a note on the occasion of World Al-Quds Day, published on the website of the Italian news agency ANSA: "What perpetuates the Israeli occupation and the increasing killing and displacement of the oppressed Palestinian people is first the full support of some countries, especially the United States, for its crimes, then the compromise of the Arab countries in the region and their betrayal of the Palestinian cause, and finally the silence of other countries."
The note added: "The United States and its satellites, without regard to the rights of the Palestinians and in clear violation of international law and regulations and in waiver of their obligations, have presented plans that are entirely in line with the continuation of the Israeli occupation; The United States even went so far as to move its embassy to Al-Quds, forcing some Arab countries to compromise and establish relations with the Israeli regime."

The note of the Iranian embassy in Italy states: "The Israeli regime, with its perpetual green light for crime and betrayal and the silence of other countries in the region and the West, in addition to having the largest nuclear arsenal in the Middle East that threatens world peace and stability, in bombing and sabotaging peace facilities, has a long history of bombing and sabotaging the peaceful nuclear facilities of other countries in the region and assassinating their nuclear scientists. "
The note concluded: "The only way to resolve the Palestinian question is to take the most democratic path, and that is to hold a referendum in this land after the release of all Palestinian prisoners from the dungeons of the Israeli apartheid regime and the return of all Palestinian refugees to their homeland."
