Also in an interview with Iran Press, Allama Raja Nasser Abbas, Secretary general of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Assembly (Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM), said that Imam Khomeini's order to hold Quds Day, in addition to strengthening the unity and solidarity of Muslims, would thwart the plans of the enemies of Islam.

Allama Raja Nasser Abbas emphasized that the appearance of men and women, old and young, on Al-Quds Day while they are fasting shows their firm determination to support the Palestinian cause and is a great jihad (holy war) against global arrogance.

"After the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran led by Imam Khomeini, the liberation of Quds was one of the most important slogans of the revolution that could spread throughout the world," Sabir Abu Maryam, Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan told Iran Press.

Pakistani Senior official said that the slogan of the liberation of Al-Quds has hurt Israel so much that today we see that in addition to Muslims, even Christians and Jews who oppose Zionism have risen up against the child-killing regime of Israel.

Sabir Abu Maryam added that the Al-Quds Day rallies send a message to the Israeli regime that it is an illegitimate and oppressive regime that has occupied Muslim lands.

Nasser Shirazi, a Pakistani social activist, told Iran Press that the Palestinian Resistance Front has been strengthened today with the support of Iran, and that Israeli regime, which until recently talked about strengthening and developing itself, is now building a wall around itself.
