(IP)- Zionist militants continued to attack Palestinians this morning on Thursday by firing bullets and tear gas at worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Iran PressMiddle East: Palestinian media reported that the occupying forces fired tear gas and rubber bullets on Thursday morning to drive out worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque. 

The Zionist regime's military forces raided the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, removed the guards from there, and surrounded the worshipers and i'tikaaf practitioners in the Al-Qibli Mosque.

Al-Jazeera also reported that the Zionists used tear gas and plastic bullets to drive out worshipers in the Al-Qibli Mosque, injuring several Palestinians.

The Zionist regime also attacked the Gaza Strip on Thursday morning, and the occupying fighters targeted the positions of the Palestinian resistance forces in central Gaza with eight missiles.

The attacks came hours after several rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Israeli settlements bordering the strip.

Israeli raid on al-Aqsa Mosque; 150 injured, 400 arrested

Israeli media reported that at least three explosions were heard in the town of Sderot, near the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, the Israeli army radio claimed that the missiles fired from Gaza hit the area of ​​two residential houses in the town of Sderot. Still, there was no significant damage, and four people were injured.

In a statement Wednesday night, the Israeli army announced that the West Bank and crossings with the Gaza Strip would be closed for the next two days for security reasons.

A statement from the army of the occupying regime in Al-Quds said that the West Bank and the border crossings with Gaza will be closed from today, Thursday, April 21, at 5:00 PM until Saturday, April 23.

According to the report, the Israeli Minister of War ordered the siege of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in the last two days of Passover.

Passover, also called Pesach, is a major Jewish holiday that celebrates the Israelites' exodus from slavery in Egypt.

Meanwhile, Zionist militant attacks on the West Bank and occupied Al_Quds since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan have left dozens of Palestinians martyred and wounded.

According to Iran Press, clashes between Palestinians and Zionist militias in occupied Al-Quds and near the Al-Aqsa Mosque began at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and continue.
