Ulaanbaatar (IP) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Nasser Alizadeh snatched the gold medal at the Asian Wrestling Championships.

Iran PressAsia: The Asian Wrestling Championships have kicked off today in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia and will continue until April 24.

Iranian athlete Nasser Alizadeh managed to defeat the Uzbek representative in the final match of the 87 kg category, claiming the gold medal.

Iman Mohammadi and Aref Habibollahi from Iran also won two bronze medals in the 63 kg and 77 kg weight categories.

The first five weight competitions were held today and the second five weight competitions will be held tomorrow (Wednesday).
