Shiraz (IP) – The recitation of the Holy Qur'an during the month of Ramadan is held in the historic Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque in Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province, southern Iran.

Iran PressIran News: The Holy Qur'an recitation ceremony is one of the most important programs during the holy month of Ramadan, which is mainly held in religious places and shrines with the participation of different strata of people throughout Iran.

Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque (or the Pink Mosque) is one of the magnificent historical monuments of Shiraz from the Qajar period and is beautifully and uniquely built in terms of architecture and tiling; stained glasses are used in its design and it is one of the masterpieces of Iranian architecture.

As the sun passes through stained glasses and the combination of colors, the Pink Mosque is eye-catching.
